Editing Policies
Writing
and editing are such broad disciplines that it is not possible for someone to have expertise in all areas. It is the
scope of this work that is so interesting and challenging. Those who have ventured into the arenas of writing and/or
editing, have wonderful opportunities to expand their world views and to further understand how so much is interrelated.
Not having
reached the full understanding of this universe and not expecting to do so in the near future, Vi works within
the framework of her expertise. If she feels a project falls outside of this realm, she will advise you and may suggest
a referral.
There are
no overt or implied guarantees resulting from Vi's editing work-- e.g. publishing, job offers and so on.
Your project
should be submitted in the following format:
-
12-point
format
-
Times
Romans
-
Double
Spaced
-
250 words/page
Email Vi
a query before submitting your work indicating its nature, total word count, the kind of editing required as well
as the date for completion.
Vi will
review the work and provide you with a quote at that time and advise you if she can meet your time frame. Payment arrangements
can then be made.
The more
complex the work, the more communication with Vi.
